Discussion of Suspicious Indicators Related to Unusual Financial Transactions
Within the framework of the Public–Private Partnership (PPP), the Anti-Money Laundering and Counter-Terrorism Financing Office held a meeting with a number of banking and non-banking financial institutions from both the public and private sectors, aiming to strengthen cooperation and exchange perspectives in a way that contributes to the development of the anti-money laundering and counter-terrorism financing system.
The meeting discussed indicators of suspicion related to unusual financial transactions, reviewed the mechanisms adopted to handle and distinguish them from suspicious transactions, thereby enhancing the relevant operational aspects.
This meeting aligns with the requirements of international standards, which emphasize the importance of cooperative partnership among the relevant entities at both operational and strategic levels, contributing to increasing the efficiency and effectiveness of the national system.
